Welcome To Superior Science

Superior Science is a student-run, non-profit program that sparks children's interests in science, engineering and technology through fun, hands-on activities. Based at Lakehead University, Superior Science's philosophy lies in learning through hands-on and interactive experiences. Since 1999, this program has continued its goal of promoting awareness of science by offering a variety of outreach programs throughout Northwestern Ontario. Over 20 000 youth have been reached throughout Northwestern Ontario since Superior Science began TEN years ago!

All summer camps were 95.5% full last year, over 86 hands-on workshops were delivered to elementary schools, and Superior Science ran community workshops throughout Thunder Bay.

Actua provides training, resources and support to a national network of local organizations offering science and technology education programs. Actua members reach over 225,000 youth per year . Please visit Actua on the web at www.actua.ca .
